Beekeeping is an art. An art that I refer to as Beekeeping Terroir. Beekeeping changes heavily per region, per hive even. There is no exact way of doing any one thing in this art, but the right thing to do is to document everything.

Building a library of personal experience forms the basis for comparative learning. Learning by example is the most noble way of passing on traditional arts and assuring beekeeping’s availability and longevity.

Hence, the importance and need for this specialized wiki. We will invest heavily in the demonstrable personal experience and opinions of our fellow practitioners, for they are our arts greatest strengths.
